NatureKids is a Costa Rican foundation dedicated to working with low-income families to develop the tools they need for self-reliant futures.

Through English language and environmental education programs, NatureKids works with communities to cultivate values of sustainability at the village level.

We currently operate two English language schools in Costa Rica-one in Salitral, Santa Ana just outside of San Jose, and one in Drake Bay on the Osa Peninsula. Our schools serve over two hundred students with daily English and ecological courses. They also function as local community centers, providing families a place to come together for meetings, workshops, and to check out books at our bi-lingual libraries.

We spearhead community programs in both project locations that include environmental initiatives, community service programs and higher education scholarships.

NatureKids is expanding rapidly, and we will soon be opening a third school in Costa Rica. Stay tuned for more details!
