This past July NatureKids staff worked with Monica Quesada a professional photographer who donated her time to our foundation to help us capture the photos and stories of our students for our 2008 calendar.

We began in Salitral de Santa Ana, and then traveled to the Osa Peninsula where we worked in the village of Drake Bay and into the community of our "English on Horseback Program" in Los Planes Puntarenas. Our goal of the calendar was to capture the stories and diversity of our two locations and three programs. In the end we were very pleased and excited about the results.

"English on Horseback Program:"

NatureKids professor, Pamela Nave and Community Director Bella Fernandez have been working to improve the public school house in Los Planes, Puntarenas. They have invested time and effort to repainting the classroom, buying new white boards and supplying the students with new school supplies. All the improvements will only add to the value of our 2008 school year!
