April marked our first fundraising event for Nature Kids! On behalf of NatureKids staff and students we thank you all for your incredible support and energy you brought to the event! We were able to raise a total of $6,900.00!!!!!!!!

This money will go towards supporting our program for 2007. We are supplying new books for our introductory students, building library shelves in Drake Bay and we are already in the middle of planning new and exciting field trips through Corcovado Park and Central Cultural!

Also I would like to mention a thank you to three of our students from Salitral, who greeted the audience and spoke about their experience at NatureKids all in English!



The last few months here in Costa Rica we have been living through heavy black outs through out the country! However not having lights did not affect our students from coming and participating in class. Students in Drake Bay arrived on Horse back ready to study in candle light! No matter what classes always continue!
